Comfortable first week in Might! Right here’s to the freshness of a brand new month, which feels notably welcome proper now.
April was… fascinating, to say the least. We stayed dwelling greater than we ever have earlier than, cooked (and did extra dishes) than we ever thought doable, discovered to remain related by way of Zoom, and mastered the quickest morning routine ever.
And whereas I’m excited on the prospect of returning to my favourite eating places and hanging out with associates (cherished studying all of your ideas on Texas beginning to reopen right here), I even have the sensation that almost all of us are going to be straddling a bizarre line of uncertainty and making plenty of judgement calls all all through the month of Might. My aim is similar because it’s been: take issues daily and do my greatest to savor the slower tempo of life at dwelling… although admittedly, I’m beginning to dream in regards to the first small feast I wish to host once we really feel prepared.
